The University of Pennsylvania has named our partner institute Eurispes (Rome) as one of the most important independent research institutes in the world. Eurispes is included in the list of centers of excellence as belonging to the “Best Independent Think Tanks”. The 2020 report, now reaching its 15th edition, bases its selection on a database of 11,175 study and research centers.
In recent years, Eurispes has set up ‘laboratories’ studying BRICS-countries (“The BRICS Laboratory”) and Europe (“Europa Plus”), aiming at continuous, systemic and multidisciplinary analysis and monitoring of new thematic areas.
The collaboration of Eurispes with IASQ dates back to 2010. Seen from the perspective of the IASQ, the traditional attention of Eurispes for the urban problematique and for the fundamentally changing labor relations, as well as the current attention for the new global phenomenon of the BRICS-platform of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, may help to develop new directions for the Social Quality Approach.
