Thanks to the generous support from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), IJSQ will be published as an Open Access journal starting with Volume 11. There are no submission or article processing charges (APCs) for articles published under this arrangement, resulting in no direct charges to authors.
IASQ is very grateful for the support by CASS. In this way, the journal will be able to continue the worldwide dialogue on Social Quality, with focus on all-important matters like public health and overall sustainability, for many years to come. Open Access will make it possible for scholars, policy makers, and students worldwide to get unlimited access to all content of the journal from Volume 11 onward.
Please note that a number of articles, as well as all editorial content, in earlier volumes are already freely available! They can be recognized by the ‘open lock’ symbols on the publishers’ website.
Volume 11, 1&2 (our first completely open access issue) will be a special double issue that will be devoted to the societal consequences of the current COVID pandemic. The issue is scheduled to appear in November 2021.
