Social Quality – Building Bridges
The International Association on Social Quality (IASQ) contributes to building bridges toward cohesive and sustainable human societies. Social quality is defined as the extent to which people are able to participate in social relationships under conditions which enhance their well-being, capacity and individual potential. Development of the Social Quality Approach
The development of the social quality approach is a collective endeavor by a large number of scientists all over the world. Their common goal is to address urgent societal issues. Overall sustainability is more and more recognized as a key issue. Development of the social quality approach has started in the 1990s and is an ongoing process.
