The Institute of Sociology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) is hosting an international conference in Beijing, titled “Sociology Summit Forum in 2018 – Social Quality and Social Governance.”
The conference takes place on 27 and 28 September, 2018, and will be attend by scholars from China, The Netherlands, Australia, and other countries. The host is professor Chen Guangjin from CASS. Laurent van der Maesen will be present on behalf of IASQ and the International Journal of Social Quality.
In the words of Cheng Guangjin: “It is hoped that this conference will provide an opportunity for the Institute of Sociology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences to cooperate with the international community of quality science to promote social quality research . . . and to promote the academic research level of social quality at home and abroad.”
